Welcome to The Cyprus Community of NSW

Hosted at The Lakemba Club

About The Cyprus Community of NSW

The Cyprus Community of NSW has always been about people, not just a place. While our Stanmore location has now been sold, the heart of the club is still beating strong. We’re currently being hosted by The Lakemba Club as we look towards finding a new permanent home.

What hasn’t changed is our purpose. We’re here to bring people together, to share food, dance, culture and community. Whether you’ve been with us for years or are visiting for the first time, The Cyprus Community of NSW continues to be a space where everyone can feel welcome, stay connected to their roots, and be part of something special.

The Bistro

Whether you’re here for a quick bite or a long lunch with friends and family, the bistro at the Lakemba Club is all about good food and great company. It’s the kind of place where classic favourites meet comforting hospitality.

You’ll find all the staples you know and love, from a crispy chicken schnitzel to our house-battered fish and chips, stacked burgers, fresh salads, and more. It’s casual, hearty, and hits the spot every time.

Our chefs also serve up weekly specials that change with the seasons and keep things interesting. There’s always something new to try, whether it’s a twist on a classic or a dish inspired by Cypriot flavours.

Greek Cypriot Dance Classes

Embrace the rhythm and joy of Greek-Cypriot dance at The Cyprus Community of NSW. Our dance classes cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. Learn traditional dances that have been passed down through generations and become a part of our vibrant cultural tapestry. Dancing is not just an activity; it’s a way to connect with our roots and each other.
